Dear Clients, Dear Partners,
Following the measures taken by the authorities in response to the Covid-19 epidemic, Monaco Marine has implemented a specific action plan to ensure the protection of those present at our shipyards.
Our customers, crews, partners and employees must be protected from any possibility of contamination by the Covid-19 virus. So far, the measures taken have ensured that there have been no cases of contamination in our facilities.
However, faced with the evolution of the situation, in particular the shutdown of certain subcontractors and suppliers, and the closure of ports, the decision made by management is that it is no longer possible to continue our activity whilst also guaranteeing to meet the health and safety regulations currently in force in the country, as well as the arrival and departure of boats.
Consequently, and in connection with the instructions received by the President of the French Republic, we have announced the temporary closure of our shipyards for a period of 15 days. This means that the works will be stopped due to force majeure as of Thursday March 19th, 2020.
Monaco Marine will be maintaining 24 hour a day security at all of our sites during the closure period.
Our management teams remain operational and will be available to give you any information you need on the situation via email and telephone.
For further information on this subject or for any questions on your current situation, do not hesitate to consult your usual contact within Monaco Marine.
During this phase, all our focus and energy is turning towards the end of this ordeal, to guarantee that we will be able to resume activity as quickly as possible.
In solidarity with all those affected by the virus, we are fully committed and ready by your side during this exceptional period, we thank you for your understanding and your confidence.
Best regards,
Tanguy Ducros
