Monaco Marine respects the environment
The MM Group has made large investments at each of its seven shipyards to ensure they conform with ‘PORTS PROPRES’ (Clean Ports) regulations: these include deep-rooted modifications to their wastewater collection and drainage systems, the installation of sorting and recycling points, and the establishment of task forces across the network who encourage the use of environmentally-friendly products. Protecting the environment is a very important cause for Monaco Marine.
Shipyard certification
The La Ciotat shipyard was the first to obtain the ISO 9001 certification for quality management system and the ISO 14001 for the environmental management system. It served as an example to the other Monaco Marine yards who were also able to adapt their working methods according to their own constraints and requirements.
Safety: a top priority
Monaco Marine places the utmost importance in the security of its sites. Prevention of risks is a priority in which the Group has invested considerable funds. Security regulations are respected not only by Monaco Marine staff but by all sub-contractors, crew and any personnel present at the yards and training sessions are frequently organised, largely internally by the Monaco Marine University.
