2025 marks a significant milestone for Monaco Marine as the company celebrates 30 years of delivering exceptional services to the luxury yachting industry. Founded in 1995 by Michel Ducros, Monaco Marine has evolved from a single shipyard in Monaco to a leading network of refit and maintenance facilities spanning the French Riviera and beyond.
Since 1995 Monaco Marine has revolutionized yacht maintenance by prioritizing client-focused service and professionalism. Over the years, the company expanded catering to yachts of various sizes.
The milestones began with the Monaco shipyard, followed 2 years later by the opening of the Saint Laurent du Var and Beaulieu Sur Mer shipyards, the latter to accommodate medium-sized yachts. A few years later, Monaco Marine undertook the creation of dedicated superyacht facilities in La Ciotat (2007) and La Seyne-Toulon (2018).
Monaco Marine continues to improve its facilities on a regular basis, in order to always offer services at the cutting edge of the latest technologies. Recently completed renovations at the Antibes and Beaulieu Sur Mer (2024) shipyards offer ever more innovative services for boat and yacht owners.
Over three decades, the company has redefined yacht maintenance, focusing on personalized services, innovation, and professionalism.
The journey began with a vision to revolutionize yacht maintenance, and Monaco Marine quickly established itself as a trusted partner to yacht owners, captains, and crews. By 2007, the company had expanded with the launch of its superyacht-focused facility in La Ciotat, setting new standards for large-scale refit projects. The company continued its growth with strategic openings, including the state-of-the-art shipyard in La Seyne-Toulon in 2018, tailored to serve some of the world’s largest yachts.
Today, Monaco Marine operates eight facilities and one marina, providing unmatched services to yachts of all sizes, with a reputation for delivering over 3,000 projects annually. The company's commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in its upcoming 6,000-ton lift project, expected to be operational by 2025, further cementing its position as a leader in the industry.
As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Monaco Marine reflects on its recent achievements. In 2024, the company announced its continued investment in sustainability and technology, integrating eco-friendly practices across all operations. This includes cutting-edge water treatment systems, energy-efficient infrastructure, and partnerships promoting sustainable yachting.
The anniversary is not only a time to honor Monaco Marine’s rich history but also to look toward the future. With plans for further expansion, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to excellence, Monaco Marine aims to maintain its role at the forefront of the yachting industry.
As the company celebrates this remarkable journey, Monaco Marine thanks their clients, partners, and industry peers for their loyalty and will be thrilled to welcome them and new ones to trust them with their team’s expertise, and exceptional service.
