Adventure entered La Ciotat shipyard for her 20-year class survey and an extensive exterior refit last October.
This check-up includes inspection and overhaul of all hull valves, maintenance of the shaft line and the rudder, as well as the treatment of the antifouling, making it the perfect opportunity to repaint the vessel's hull.
Thanks to close collaboration with the brokerage company Y.CO and the contribution of the ship's crew, the end result of this renovation is a total success. As the owner's satisfaction is at the heart of the Monaco Marine teams' concerns, the collective efforts of all those involved and specialists were important to the achievement of this project.
Like orchestra conductors, project managers Théo Lonchamp, Baptiste Gamel and Florian Salanon organized the various stages and their planning to meet the deadlines estimated at the start of the project. They anticipated each phase of the refit with each specialist, for a breathtaking final result.
Formerly known as Hanikon, Adventure has undergone a facelift with a new hull paint job, a 2.7m bathing platform extension and the addition of extra technology for maximum comfort and modernity.
The owner already had a clear idea of what he wanted, so it was easy for Monaco Marine to apply its expertise to turn what the Azure Design team had carefully imagined into reality. Monaco Marine's specialists helped conceive the implementation of the final project.
The designers had already helped the owner choose his paint finish, a hull in snow white, with darker areas in flint black, bringing a sleek, chic style to the Adventure superyacht's new exterior. The final rendering executed by the Monaco Marine teams offers a sophisticated and elegant look.
An important part of Adventure's superyacht refit was the transformation of her bathing platform. Monaco Marine's craftsmen built this new space, designed with the user in mind. A timely orchestration by the project managers, and the participation of Y.CO and Adventure's crew ensured that the various stages ran smoothly, resulting in the additional 2.70m extension that the owner wanted.
Whether it's for waterside dining, easy access for swimming or easy use of toys like jetskis, the bathing beach club is very versatile. The installation of a converter provides optimum flexibility for direct descent into the ocean.
The particular care given to this new platform offers Adventure a chic, comfortable and adaptable space for owners and guests to enjoy the exterior of the vessel and its surroundings.
In addition to these aesthetic transformations, Adventure's superyacht refit was an opportunity to bring some additional technologies to modernize the ship's onboard facilities. In particular, the fountains were treated with a “sleeve in” system to eliminate any galvanic contact, helping to prevent rust and corrosion.
As with all superyacht refits carried out by Monaco Marine's teams, we have found that good communication between all the parties involved is the key to ensuring that all stages run smoothly, to meet the deadlines and imperatives agreed by the owners.
